Marybeth (Wurst) Freund

Marybeth Freund (Wurst), of South Park, on Thursday, February 1, 2018, age 61, beloved wife for 36 years of Kenneth G. Freund, loving mother of Gregory (Martina) & Matthew (Kaitlyn), daughter of Francis "Rip" & the late Mary "Betty" Wurst, sister of John (Debbie), Thomas (Audrey) & David Wurst, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marybeth lived her life to the fullest, moving every person she met along the way. She had a pleasant and upbeat attitude, enjoying every minute of life. Marybeth’s smile and laugh lit up any room, as she welcomed everyone around her with open arms. Marybeth’s embrace of the blessings in life showed through her affection for others, especially her fierce love of her family. Her love was the glue that held her family together.  To have known Marybeth was to have been blessed with that love. She had a passion for people, as a caring and selfless person, always putting her family and friends first.  She inspired everyone around her to never waste a minute of life and to never give up.   She will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of sharing this life with her.  She was a faithful member of St. Joan of Arc Church where she volunteered at the fish fry and garden club.  Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road, (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, South Park.
