David W. Lutz

David W. Lutz, of Finleyville, passed away very suddenly on Thursday, November 22, 2018, age 65, Beloved husband for 44 years of his high school sweetheart Shirley (Allen) Lutz, beloved proud father of Rainee Lutz and Jason (Becky) Lutz. He absolutely adored his four grandchildren Kaylee and Darren Lutz and Derek & Colton Gruber. The son of the late Thomas and Betty Lou Lutz and brother of Richard (Shauna) Lutz of Grand Island, Nebraska. Dave was a 1971 graduate of Baldwin High School. He worked at the family business on Route 51 until he started working in the elevator industry. Dave was a proud Union Elevator Mechanic for 36 years at Marshall and Otis Elevator. He had just retired on April 1, and was really excited to do more traveling and spending more time with family. Dave was well known for his lovable sarcasm. He poured his heart into his family friends and work. He loved traveling and family vacations as well as remodeling and building things. Visitation Monday 1-3 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, where a funeral service  will be Monday at 8:00 p.m.
