Edward P. Lyons, of Bethel Park, PA, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, age 92, husband of the late Josephine Mary Tempert Lyons. Edward was born November 14, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of John J. Lyons and Bridgett Houlihan Lyons. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Ed was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked in the construction industry as a roofer. He is survived by son, Gary P. Lyons (Karin) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Diann Clark (Dennis) of Goat Island, SC, and Karen Lyons of New Freeport, PA; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Lyons (Sue) of Vermont, brothers-in-law of Harold Tempert (Catherine), Albert Tempert & sisters-in-laws, Alice Tempert & Carol Schaffer (Jim) also many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by great-grandson, Cody Lyons. Visitation Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30 a.m. in St Louise de Marillac Church with interment in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, PA, with Full Military Honors.
