Peter C. Marie, Jr.

Peter C. Marie, Jr. was called to heaven on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the age of 85.  Known and loved by many, Pete was a long-time resident of Bethel Park and grew up in Mt. Lebanon. Beloved husband of the late Lois (Heckel) Marie, loving father of Michael A. Marie (Janet) and Lisa Zalenski (Scott), and brother of Joseph Marie.  He was the proud grandfather of Daniel & Michelle Marie and Nina & Nick Zalenski. Pete was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was also a long-time usher at St. John Capistran Church. Visitation Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at St. John Capistran Church, 1610 McMillan Rd, Pgh., PA 15241. Interment with Full Military Honors to immediately follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
