Adrienne S. (Kelly) Hufnagel

Adrienne Salome (Kelly) Hufnagel passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 at the ripe age of 90. 

Adored wife of 67 years to Richard G. “Dick”  Hufnagel, Sr.; daughter of the late Paul M. Kelly, Sr. and Edna McCarroll Kelly; loving mother of Adrienne Hufnagel-Spanovich, Susan (John) Hufnagel, Carol (John) Werner, Nancy (Mark) Centofanti, Richard G. Jr. (Justine), Jeffrey (Michele); beloved grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; cherished sister of the late Edna Guttendorf, Vilma Cook, Renilda Murphy, Paul, James, Thomas, Gilbert and Jerome Kelly; survived by brother Richard Kelly, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. 

After having grown up in Lawrenceville, in St John the Baptist parish, Adrienne and Dick became permanent residents of Bethel Park for 64 years. 

Adrienne put faith and family above all else. She was a devout Roman Catholic and enjoyed her involvement in numerous activities in her home parish, St Louise de Marillac, including the Ladies Guild, the bowling league, various volunteer activities and most especially the Ladies 9 Hole Golf League. If there are golf courses in heaven, may she please break 50. 

Her love of bridge playing was evident in her study of the bridge lessons which she completed daily after reading the newspaper from cover to cover. 

Adrienne loved sports and especially loved watching her children and then grandchildren and great grandchildren playing. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend Adrienne’s funeral mass with repast to follow on Monday, November 3rd at 11:00am at St. Louise de Marillac/St. Catherine Labouré Parish, located at 320 McMurray Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
