Andrew "Andy" Kovac

Andrew Kovac “Andy” of Bethel Park, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, age 95, beloved husband for 75 years of Susan E. Kovac, loving father of Rev. Stephen Andrew (Elizabeth), Michael David and John Dennis Kovac, brother of Margaret Rabassi, Anna DeSimone, Richard Kovac (Gerry), Linda Steider (Wes) and the late Elizabeth “Betty” O’Conner, grandfather of Stephen II Kovac (Rachel), Lauren King (Patrick), David Kovac (Sarah),  Andrew Kovac (Danielle),  Loni Dzadovsky (Carmen) and great grandfather of Susannah, Ava, Cipriana, Aria, Hope, Asher, Roman, Elia and Louie, also many nieces and nephews including the late Timothy C. O’Conner, former Bethel Park Police Chief. Andy was a life member of Ruthfred Lutheran Church. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U S Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Funeral Service will be Wednesday at noon in Ruthfred Lutheran Church with burial with Full Military Honors at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
