Ann Gloria (Santillo) DeAngelis

Ann Gloria DeAngelis (Santillo), of Castle Shannon, formerly of Peters Twp., passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at age 92. In her final days, Ann was well cared for at the Promedica Skilled Nursing facility in Peters Twp. Ann was blessed with skilled hands. She could knit, crochet, paint, draw portraits, create pastel and charcoal drawings, quilling and beading, as well as do seamstress work as a young mother. Ann was a woman of faith and very close to her Catholic church, Saint Paul of the Cross Parish - St. Anne Church in Castle Shannon. She was 100% Italian and let everyone know how proud of that she was. She loved watching Steeler games and put on her gear for the games. She was a favored cousin and aunt to many in her extended family. Ann is survived by her son David (Tami), grandchildren Nicholas DeAngelis (Tiffany) and Sarah Hinkle (Hunter), great grandchildren Kirra and Kamila DeAngelis, son Paul DeAngelis, grandchildren Roman and Mia DeAngelis. Her brother Dante (Don) Santillo (Lois) of Murrysville, PA. The family will receive friends Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT88), Library, PA, where a blessing service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following, a grave side Committal Prayer will be given at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Peters Twp. www.davidhenneyfuneralhome.com
