Barbara "Bunny" K. Barger

Barbara "Bunny" Barger, of Bethel Park, passed away at home on Christmas Eve, age 70.  Bunny was born on July 5, 1955 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to the late Carl and Janet (Zook) Barger. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Betzi and numerous cousins. Bunny was a kind and generous friend who was always there to help when she saw there was a need. She had a gift for giving because she was happiest when she could make others happy. To the children at Ruthfred Lutheran Church, she was affectionately known as "Miss Bunny" having served as the preschool Sunday School teacher for nearly thirty years. She was also a beloved bible study leader. Prior to her retirement, she taught special education for the Allegheny County Intermediate Unit. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, PA.
