Beatrice L. "Linda" Zacur, of Bethel Park, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, age 90. She was the third child of seven, of the late John Arthur and Mildred E. Roberts. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert David Zacur, to whom she has been married for 61 years, her sister, Rebecca Cillo of Highland Park and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her other siblings, Donna Davis, Jane Brumm, John Thomas Roberts, Randolph Roberts and Geoffrey Roberts. Linda, as she liked to be called, was born in Huntington, West Virginia on June 27, 1935. The family moved to Pittsburgh in 1939, and she remained here most of her life. A graduate of West View High School, she went on to graduate from Slippery Rock State Teachers College where she majored in English and History. Further education was at the University of Pittsburgh, Indiana University of PA and Purdue University. She taught English in Meadville, PA before coming to teach at Mt. Lebanon High School where she remained for 28 years. She and her husband met there where he taught Physics. The two of them delighted in their many trips around the world and living in England and Austria, each for a year. Her interests were many and she loved life. Visitation Wednesday from 3 - 5 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. A Funeral Service will be Thursday at 10:00 in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Chapel.
