Bernard Paiano Obituary

Bernard T. Paiano, of South Park, age 78, on Monday, February 27, 2023, beloved husband of the late Susan E. (Spahr), loving father of Danielle Paiano and Elizabeth M. Cagnon (Jason), sister of Rosemarie Lutsko (Jack)and Denise Leahew, step-brother of Vikki Najdzinski-Bacho, Benji Najdzinski (Chrissy), Kristy Byrnes (Tim) and the late Albert Najdzinski and Sandy Sweeney, also 3 grandchildren;  Amanda Paiano and Evelyn & Jacob Cagnon, also cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Bernie was a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 760 of Bethel Park, Washington County Marine Corps League, local #249 Teamsters Union and past president of the South Park Historical Society. Bernie was a lover of history, reading and jazz music. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8  p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas More Church. Burial will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Honors at a later date. www.davidhenneyfuneralhome
