Of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, 54 years old, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on June 2nd, 2024. He will be missed greatly by many. Brad had a zeal for sports, adventure, fast cars and dirt bikes. He loved being an uncle to his niece and nephew. However, his greatest passion was studying theology and spreading the gospel to everyone he met. Brad attended the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary and later went on to teach various adult Sunday School classes. He firmly believed that eternal life is a gift from God, one that cannot be earned. It is only by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, that you are saved.
Brad is survived by his loving parents Harry I. Johnston, Jr. and Carole J. Johnston (Lutz), his brother Jeffrey Johnston, his sister Amy Walter (Johnston), brother-in-law Ron Walter, his nephew Sidney Walter and niece Savannah Walter who loved their uncle dearly. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 7th, from 9-11am at South Hills Bible Chapel, 300 Gallery Dr., McMurray, PA 15317, with funeral service immediately following. Arrangements by David J. Henney Funeral Home, South Park Twp., PA
