Carol A. Schang (Gould), of Finleyville, died on Saturday, June 3, 2023, age 86, passed away comfortably at home. Carol was born January 16, 1937, in Shadyside, daughter of the late Elizabeth and Floyd Gould of Bethel Park. Carol, retired, a baker at Trax Farms, 10 years at Friendship Village and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1957 and practiced until 1962. She spent her leisure time, baking, quilting, sewing, word searches and looking after her 3 Labrador Retrievers; Ducky, Dallas and Cocoa. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and the Ladies of Charity. Carol is preceded in death by her husband Donald R. and sister Lois J. Bontempo (Gould) and is survived by her son Robert Schang (Karen), three daughters; Donna, Karen Limbruner (Paul) and Christine, 3 grandchildren: Brianna, Joshua and Erika Zeng (David) and two great-granddaughters: Elsie and Launa, sister-in-law Mary Lou Richards and nephew James Bontempo (Pam). Visitation Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3739 Washington Rd., Canonsburg, PA 15317.
