Charmaine R. (Craig) Yon

Charmaine Yon, age 96, of Birmingham, AL, formerly of Bethel Park, PA, entered into eternal life on July 21, 2025 in Birmingham, following a brief hospital stay. Charmaine is survived by her daughter Claudia Yon-Rawls (Mark) of Birmingham, Cathy Benfer (Rick) of Carlisle, PA, granddaughter Brianne Stevens, great-grandsons Jacob and Noah of Mechanicsburg, PA, grandson Robert of Frederick, MD, granddaughter Emily Monsted (Jack) of Winchester, VA, grandson Nicholas Ezerosky, great-granddaughters Madysen and Katelyn Ezerosky of Texas, grandson Nathan Ezerosky and great-grandson Gavon Ezerosky and great-granddaughter Reegan Ezerosky of Texas, sister Susan Sapner Reese of New Jersey, sister Eileen Rose of Acme, PA. Additionally she is also survived by her sons-in-law Tom Bakin of Pittsburgh and Roger Morel of Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years William "Frank" Yon (2009), her daughters Cheryl Ann Bakin (2024) and Carol Morel (2021) as well as her parents and several brothers and sisters in Western PA.

Charmaine was retired from the Koppers Co, Pittsburgh, PA, where she worked for many years. Visitation Monday from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, PA, where a Funeral Service will be Monday at noon.Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, PA.
