Colleen M. (McNulty) Pusateri

Colleen (McNulty) Pusateri was a woman of extraordinary faith, creativity, courage, and love. She was beautiful not only in the way she carried herself, but in the way she cared for those around her. Her greatest gifts were the love she gave so freely to her family and the unwavering faith she placed in the Lord. She passed away peacefully on August 22nd leaving behind a family who will miss her more than words can express. 

Born on May 31, 1957, in Scranton, PA, Colleen was the oldest of four siblings. Faith was the foundation of her life. A devoted member of Resurrection Parish (St. Thomas More), she had a deep love for Christ and a servant's heart. She trusted God through every season of life, including its greatest challenges. Her quiet strength and steadfast faith inspired all who knew and loved her.

Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom Pusateri Sr., and her parents, Anthony A. "Terry" McNulty and Mary McNulty. Tom was the love of her life. Their bond was deep, devoted, and unmistakable, and being his wife was one of the roles she cherished most. Though she missed him dearly following his passing, she carried his love with her always. We find comfort in knowing they are together again in heaven, where Tom may once again smile and say, "It doesn't get any better than this."

She was a loving mother to Bret Pusateri (Kim) and a devoted stepmother to Tom Pusateri (Lauren) and Justin Pusateri (Nancy). She adored her granddaughter, Averley, who lovingly called her "Mugga” and her grandchildren Alexis (Michael), Ashlie, Isabella, Gianna, Ryan, Jonathan, and Layla. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Adelina and Rocco. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Mari McNulty, Brendan McNulty, and Susan McNulty, as well as her cherished nieces and nephews, Connor, Haley, and Shannon. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

A talented and creative woman, Colleen built a fulfilling career in web design, combining artistic vision with technical skill. She had an eye for beauty and a gift for creating meaningful things. Family and friends eagerly anticipated her uniquely designed birthday cards each year. She also authored a special book for her granddaughter, a reflection of her imagination, creativity, and devotion to her family. Music was another expression of her joyful spirit. A gifted guitarist, she found happiness in playing and sharing music with others. Family gatherings were often made more special when Colleen brought out her guitar to perform personalized birthday songs for those she loved. She could often be found singing, dancing, and laughing with the kids, creating memories they will treasure forever. Her creativity, warmth, and passion for life shone through in everything she did. Above all, Colleen will be remembered for her compassionate heart, generous spirit, enduring faith, and unwavering love for her family. The example she set and the love she shared will remain with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
