Dallas James Mucci

 

Dallas James Mucci, age 61, of Center Township, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2022. Dallas is survived by his best friend and loving wife of over 40 years Brenda Mucci, their 3 dogs Maci, Molli and Penelope, their 2 children, Dallas James II and Amy (Matt) Kreush, his siblings, Bart (Joanie) Mucci, John (Lynn) Mucci, their late sister Judith A. Mucci, adoring mother Sandy Mucci and late father, Dallas D. Mucci. He was the absolute best uncle to Tatum (Andrew) Lenaghan, Kimberlee (John) Joseph, Dominic (Mandy) Mucci, Michael (Heather) Mucci, Daniel (Susan) Mucci, Jessica Mucci, Nicolas (Ashleigh) Mucci and Thomas J. Mucci,  and many other extended family members. 

 

Dallas loved few things more than his giant family. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy shaped just for him, forever in their hearts. He showed up for everyone he loved, usually in person, usually with baked goods, tiny dogs, and his dry humor that brightened every dark day. Days where you felt less alone in those special moments together.

 

There was rarely a family event or holiday that didn't include him cooking up a storm while standing over a giant pot of the most aromatic meat sauce on the eastern seaboard ready to feed the masses.  It was truly how Dallas shared his love with us all.

 

If you were one of the lucky ones, he would talk about his love of cars, or watching countless races with his son in the pit, that kept the boy inside him very much alive. He will be dearly missed by all of the lives he touched.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or to the South Hills Church of the Nazarene.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the South Hills Church of the Nazarene, 5601 Library Road, Bethel Park, PA. Arrangements entrusted to David J. Henney Funeral Home, Library. www.davidhennefuneralhome.com
