David K. Duerr

David K. Duerr, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 7, 2026, age 69, beloved husband for 45 years of Yvonne A. (Daw) Duerr, loving father of Robbie (Debbie), Jeffrey and Laura, son of the late Elmer and Philomena (Frank) Duerr, brother of Bob Duerr (Nancy), Susie Kaufold (Chuck) and Doug Duerr (Leslie), grandfather of Skye, Jonathan and William. David attended the University of Pittsburgh and built a successful career as a Software Engineer. He loved coaching little league baseball and softball and later in life volunteered at Prime Time Adult Day Care showing great compassion for elderly and dementia clients.  Dave was beloved by all.  He was an AVID University of Michigan fan which dominated his entire wardrobe. Dave was a devoted dad, loving husband, and a wonderful son who always exhibited patience and kindness.  Even with daily health issues, he  thought of others and had a positive outlook in daily life.  No matter what, he always had a smile for friends, shopkeepers, neighbors and strangers.   Visitation Friday 2-7 p.m. at the David J.
