David WIlliam Rellis, of Gastonville, passed away on March 23, 2024, age 93, beloved husband for 62 years of the late Ruth, loving father of Kimberly Lynn Rellis, Beth Ann Dimoff (Douglas) and the late David W. Rellis II, grandfather of John Dimoff (Amy Sherman), Diane Metz (Stephen), Alexandra Kemmerer (Karl), Christian Dimoff (Melissa) and Stephen Dimoff, great grandfather of Will Spinnenweber, Harper Dimoff and Oliver Dimoff. David was employed by J & L Steel (LTV), Washington County and Dollar Bank. He was a life member of the Finleyville Volunteer Fire Company, retired member of the American Legion Post #613 and also served in the PA National Guard. David was a member of the Mingo Creek Presbyterian Church. David W. Rellis was a survivor of the Sunday, Sept. 13, 1964 fatal fire truck accident of Finleyville Volunteer Fire Dept. on Bebout Road where 3 firemen died and 5 survived. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Mingo Creek Presbyterian Church. Burial in Finleyville Cemetery with Military Honors.
