David Lee Silinskas, December 16, 1943 - November 26, 2025, 81 years old
With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, David Silinskas, who died peacefully in the early morning of November 26th.
David will rejoin his wife of 58 years, Ginny who left us in June this year. He is survived by his children Debbie (Scott) Crum, Michael (Tracy) Silinskas and Chrissy Miller. He is also survived by her grandchildren David (Chessa) Crum, Danny (Miranda) Crum, Megan (Alan) Lo, Zach Jason and Max Silinskas, and Alex and Sam Miller, as well as great grandchildren Violet, Ivy, Carson, Henry, and Kayce.
David was always the go-to guy of the neighborhood, willing to lend out tools, offer advice, or give a helping hand.
His hobbies included ballroom dancing, watching old movies and comedies, and long drives laughing with mom. But his biggest passion was by far fishing. Whether on the lake in Pymatuning with his brother Ron, on the boat at Cross Creek, or ice fishing on Lake Arthur, fishing was his happy place.
David's most valued quality was his love for his wife, Ginny. Whether making her tea, taking her dancing, or laughing at her wild sense of humor, his life revolved around her and his family, who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be Wednesday December 3, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. A burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Cross Your Paws Rescue in honor of his two daughters ongoing work with the rescue. http://www.crossyourpaws.com www.davidhenneyfuneralhome.com
