On November 23 2021, Dorothea (Dottie) Grace Hadsell passed away peacefully at her home in Asbury Heights.  Beloved by her daughters Sandra Beck McGrew (deceased), Heather Perinis (George), Tamara Rosen (Jim), Jamie Young (OB deceased), Kerry Ott (Douglas) and her grandchildren Beck McGrew (Evy), Georgia Ott, Nick Ott, Andy Ott and many friends.

Dottie was married to George Beck from 1952-1985 and to Jim Hadsell from 1994-2005

Dottie worked as a teachers aide in the physical education department of Upper St. Clair High School for many years and befriended many students and teachers.

Dottie loved God, church, and life.  Her joy was her family and especially her grandchildren.  She was good natured and blessed with a sense of humor.  She loved her dogs, her books, and her travel adventures.  She enjoyed fun times and playing games with friends, and had a determined and competitive spirit.  

Visitation at David Henney Funeral Home in Library, PA on Saturday November 27 from 11am-1pm. followed by a prayer service at 1:00 p.m.   A memorial service will be held at Asbury Heights on Tuesday, November 30 at 2pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to SHIM (South Hills Interfaith Movement) or the Asbury Foundation (gifts will benefit the Benevolent Fund).
