Dorothy Kokal Blosel

Dorothy Kokal Blosel, of Canonsburg, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Dorothy was born in Library, PA on June 28, 1929 to Joseph and Mary Kokal. She married Joseph Blosel on June 30, 1951 and raised her family in Bethel Park. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2012. Beloved mother of Jeffrey (Janis) Blosel and Linda Csete (George), sister of the late Joseph Kokal, Mary Rupnik and Anne Dolinar, grandmother of Jessica, James, Jocelyn, Steven, Allison and JoLynne, great-grandmother of Ruth, Grace, Emma, Luke, Michael, Jeffrey, Dexter, Rebekah, Jacob, Elizabeth, Beatrix, Simon, Evgeni, Martina, Penelope and Boone, also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dot was lively and quick witted. She was proud of her Slovenian heritage and music and was an elegant figure on the dance floor with the love of her life. Dot was an avid sports fan, bowled and golfed and later enjoyed watching PGA golf and rooting for her favorites. Visitation Friday 3-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. A Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Peters Creek Baptist Church, 6300 Library Road, South Park, PA, 15129. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
