Dorothy A. (Ward) Gillen

Dorothy A. (Ward) Gillen, of Bethel Park, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, October 6, 2024, age 83. She was the beloved wife for 60 years of the late Thomas W. Gillen, loving mother of Thomas, Jr. (Michelle Beyer-Gillen), Linda Gillen, James Gillen and the late Robert Gillen, mother-in-law of Lisa Gillen, sister of William Ward, Thomas Ward and Barbara Petrone, grandmother of Kali, Curtis, Kevin, Craig, Taylor, Robert Jr., Katelyn Rose, Jack, Maddie & Max and great-grandmother of Cole, Rowyn, Ryker & Clyde. Dorothy was a long time member of St. Valentine Church and past president of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed baking, gardening and family gatherings. Visitation Wednesday 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, Pa. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in St. Valentine Church, Our Lady of Hope Parish.
