Edward ‘Ed’ Hamilton, of Finleyville, on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, age 64, Loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is lovingly survived by Valerie Hamilton, his only son Andrew (Andrea), ‘Mom’ Ruth Varley, sister Robin, sister-in-law Sheryl Birch, grandchildren Gavin, Sarah, Hailey and newest addition Oliver Edward, niece Courtney (Ryan), nephews David (Jodie) Birch, Jason (Anita) Birch together with six great nieces and nephews, and friend of over 15 years, Judy Medina. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Edward C. and Dolores (Eichhorn) Hamilton, sister ‘Sissy’ Hamilton, and his only daughter, Amanda Hamilton. Ed was a good hearted quiet man of few words. He recently retired as a coal miner, but enjoyed his part time position at Home Depot. Besides his love for his family, he had a passion for raising bees and made some sweet honey that family and friends enjoyed throughout the years. He also enjoyed wood crafting and helping his ‘mom’ with anything she needed. Even though his illness prevented him from traveling he was thankful and blessed to be able to meet and hold his newest grandson, Oliver Edward. He will be forever loved, remembered and missed by all that knew him. Due to current state mandates regarding COVID-19,there will be no public visitation. Arrangements handled privately by David J.
