Ernest J. Antoniazzi, of Bethel Park, at home on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, age 90. Born in Mt. Washington on April 16, 1930, he was the son of the late Ernesto and Catherine (Kandera) Antoniazzi. He is survived by his beloved wife for 64 years, Geraldine (Getsey) Antoniazzi, his devoted daughters Joan (James) Greene and Kathy Antoniazzi, and the light of his life, granddaughters Emily and Rebecca Greene. He is also survived by his brother-in-law but really brother Jerome (the late Joann) Getsey and his loving nieces Jane and Michele Getsey. A graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, he proudly served in the Marines during the Korean conflict. First a stonemason and then a draftsman, he ended his career with Koppers Corporation. Most important to him was his faith in God. A member of St. Valentine Church since 1944, he served as Eucharistic Minister, usher, and altar server. He was a member of the St. Valentine weekly bingo team for over 30 years. He enjoyed his Thursday nights at the Jugo-Slav Club with his band of brothers - the Christian Fathers. A talented wood worker, he created many beautiful pieces that we will cherish forever. He was loved by many. Semper Fi dad - we will miss you more that you can imagine. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, PA. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Valentine Church. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. No flowers please.
