Francesco Mancuso

Francesco Mancuso entered the kingdom of God, Saturday, November 4, 2023, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Caterina, beloved father of Cecilia, Teresa Erb (Daniel), Linda Connolly (Bill) and Lucia; adored "Nonno" of Isabella, Sofia, Olivia, Emma, Evan and Charlie. Franco was born in Calabria, Italy to the late Antonio and Cecilia Mancuso; preceding him in death were his brothers Domenico (Maria) and Angelo and sisters Lucia and Angelina. He is also survived by a brother, Serafino (Maria) living in Torino, Italy. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many friends he met along his journey. Franco was loved by numerous nieces and nephews who were by his side in his time of suffering. He came to America in 1970 and was truly the example of living the American "Dream". His many years of hard work as a cement mason, working in construction to bring his family forward, was his greatest achievement. He was so proud of all of his daughter's accomplishments. He also had a passion for gardening  and kept a beautiful garden and lawn. His loving memory will live on in all those he touched here on Earth. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Valentine Church.
