Frank A. Evanovich, of Bethel Park, on Sunday, August 23, 2020, age 95. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothy and seven brothers and sisters. He was the loving father of Cheryl, Bruce (Debbie), Evan (Carolyn) & Doree Keating (Brendan), Pap of Erin, Kelly, Matthew, Derrick, Devan, Declan & Cormac, super Pap of Gianna, Simon, Isaac and Lanae. Frank was a graduate of Bethel High School & a proud WWII veteran. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force as a flight officer achieving the rank of Second Lieutenant. Frank was a navigator of his PBY-Catalina, nicknamed Dumbo, during the running of air-sea rescue missions in the South China Sea. After the war, Frank returned home and started Frank A. Evanovich Landscaping which is still in operation by his sons, in several forms, today. Frank was an avid golfer, appreciated a good lamb roast and enjoyed playing cards, but his biggest love was his family. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Valentine Church. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Visitation will be limited to 25 persons at a time.
