Fred J. Proie, Jr., of Peters Township, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, age 95, beloved husband for 72 years of Norma (Cotz) Proie, loving father of Maureen Reed (Thomas), Robert Proie (Janice), Linda Bowen (Jackie) and Karen Larkin (Brian), brother of JoAnne McCormick and the late Madeline Regis, grandfather of Brian, Melissa, Craig, Meghann, Robert Jr., Tyler, Christopher, Haley, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Briton and Mia, also 12 great-grandchildren. Fred was a licensed professional engineer. He retired from Bayer Corp. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Valentine Church. Burial in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum with Full Military Honors.
