Gary A. Dawson, Jr.

On August 14, 2021, Heaven received another Angel.  Gary Allan Dawson, Jr. died suddenly in his home in Hollywood, Florida.  Gary is survived by his family, his Father Gary Allan Dawson, Sr, his Mother, Michele S. Haggerty (Jeff Haggerty), his brother, Eric Dawson (Alicia Fasy), his sister, Emalee Dawson, three nieces, Mckenzee, Kaylee and Hayden, Aunts, Uncles and cousins and his long-time partner, Amanda Kovach. Gary will be reunited in heaven with his grandparents, George(Pop-pop) and Martha (Mammie) Dawson and Charles (De-dad) and Elizabeth (Nonnie) Seifert and his cousin Ryan Peck. 
Gary loved the ocean, thus his move to Florida, where he enjoyed fishing, swimming in the ocean and daily walks on the beach. Gary was a bit of an entrepreneur, with always another on job on the horizon.  Gary loved his family and stayed in touch with weekly, sometimes daily phone calls.  He was quick witted and loved a good joke.  
Gary struggled with the demons of addiction for a long time.  He fought valiantly at times and for so many years and finally the battle is over, leaving us to mourn the loss of Gary, while knowing his pain and his fighting have been replaced by eternal happiness in the arms of God.
