Gerald J. Barry

Gerald J. Barry, of Bethel Park, on Sunday, November 1, 2020, age 86, husband of the late Jane R. Barry (Gatz), loving father of Karen Barry (Don Butler) and Jake Barry (Maureen), brother of Catherine Polcawich, Theresa Smith, Shirley Ann Sweeney and the late James Barry, Lois Miller, Mary Crough and Jean Barry, grandfather of Kristine and Katie (Tim Dobish), also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerry was a sonarman in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Jerry was a passionate musician who enjoyed playing guitar, bass and keyboards. The Barry family would like to thank the VA Home Based Primary Care Program and Dr. Heather McQuillan, Dr. Jonothon Wertz and his nurses Lindsey & Sue for their exceptional care over the years. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, where a blessing service will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial in South Side Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veteran's at DAV.org.
