Gerald L. DeAngelo, of New Eagle,PA, lost his battle with cancer with his wife for 25 years Irma Hiller by his side, on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the age of 70, He is survived by his twin brother Bernie and his brother Don (Rhonda), uncle of Gabriel Greco, in laws of Cheryl Miller DeAngelo, Sue & Jim Calvin, James Hiller, Nancy & Wayne Johnston, cousin of Harriet Kistler, nieces and nephews Gina (Robert), Jessie, Liana (Mark) and Nick DeAngelo, Jim & Beth Calvin, Suzanne & Mike Hickey, Chris & Ashley Johnston, David Hiller and many great nieces & nephews. A thank you to special friends Judy Blakeley, Penny & Marshall DeAngelo, Dottie & Jeff Seiple, Don Dombrowski and others. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents William & Philomena DeAngelo and his brother Jude DeAngelo. Jerry was a siding mechanic and a security guard for St. Moritz at Univar. He loved his movie trivia and his favorite saying now is from Shrek "I'm a real boy." He is a beloved member of Calvary Chapel South Pittsburgh, West Elizabeth, PA, led by Pastor Tim Green. Per Jerry's wishes, there will be no service and his interment will be private. A special thank you to the Donnell Hospice House, Amedisy's Hospice and the Residence at Hilltop that took great care of him.
