Geraldine A. (Getsey) Antoniazzi

Geraldine A.  Antoniazzi , of Bethel Park, peacefully at home holding Kathy’s hand on April 14, 2024. Born in Steubenville, OH on June 14, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Borsch) Getsey and wife of the late Ernest J Antoniazzi . She is survived by her devoted daughters Joan (James) Greene and Kathy Antoniazzi, her twin brother Jerome Getsey, her granddaughters Emily and Rebecca Greene, nieces Jane and Michele Getsey and many loving cousins. She was predeceased by her sister in law, Joann Getsey. She was graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School. A devout Catholic her entire life, she was a member of St. Valentine Church since 1955. Always happy to be of service to her church, she was a proud member of the Christian Mothers organization where she was president several times and a participant in any event that they sponsored. Her friendships with her fellow Christian Mothers were her best. Along with Ernie and Kathy, she was a member of the St. Valentine weekly bingo team for over 30 years. Every Tuesday, she devotedly prepared the refreshments for the Bingo kitchen. Her sauerkraut was known throughout Bethel Park. Ernie was the love of her life and we fondly remember them sitting side by side working their crossword puzzles together. We know that they are together again for eternity. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We are grateful for the expert and compassionate care of the AHN hospice team who cared for both mom and dad. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Valentine Church,  Our Lady of Hope Parish. No flowers please.  Contributions can be made to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God  (5802 Curry Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236) or  Our Lady of Hope Parish (7003 Baptist Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102).
