Gertrude "Gert" "GiGi" (Kifus) Patricelli

Gertrude "Gert", "GiGi" Christine Patricelli (Kifus), of Bethel Park, age 90, passed away on June 11, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Dominic Patricelli, happily married for over 60 years, until his passing in 2017. She was the caring mother of Karen Almendarez (Joaquin) and Dominic Jr. (Kimberly), loving grandmother of Lee Ann, Christina, Michael, Joseph and Amanda, and doting great grandmother of Cole and Kendall. Gertrude was also preceded in death by her 10 wonderful siblings, who are surely elated to be with their baby sister once more. Gert lived a happy and full life, filled with family and friends. She and Dom were avid bowlers, loved bingos, and were known for being pretty lucky with the slot machines too! However, it was the simple things in life that Gert enjoyed the most; reading the morning paper with Dom, sleepovers with the grandkids, taking walks at South Park, and simply spending as much time as possible with her family. Her laugh was infectious, and moments shared with her were absolute gifts. A very sincere thank you to the staff and caretakers at Overlook Green who have been amazing with Gertrude in her final years. Due to Covid-19, there will not be a public mass or viewing. Once restrictions are lifted, we hope to meet and celebrate Gertrude's life together. Until then, please take a moment to recall your favorite memories with Gert, and help us celebrate her life.
