2- daughters (in law), Stacey, Liz-that he loved like they were his daughters
5- grandkids, Nicole (Blake Stoner), Lexi, Ian, Luke, Mark. He loved those kids , I think more than he even loved his sons-
1-wife, Ginny (Virginia) - he loved more than anything else in this world.
50-happy years of marriage!
Born in the depression in Detroit, Michigan, Dad weaved his way through high school, time in the Merchant Marine, a stint in the Coast Guard, found his way to the UP to Michigan Tech where he earned an engineering degree. that took him to New York City. It was there where at Sperry he met Ginny. They wed and lived on Long Island.
A move to Pittsburgh, to work at Bettis Labs, the house in Bethel Park, work on nuclear subs, and Shippingport nuclear power plant.
After he retired, he picked up wood carving as a hobby. Dad’s carvings of birds, ducks, and other items have brightened many peoples lives that touched his.
Family was the most important thing in his life. Asked what he was most proud of , he said “My Family-my boys.”
He made it to 91. He lived a good life. May he Rest In Peace. Visitation Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the David J.
