Jack D. Reuschling, 87, "Snake", left us Friday, December 27, 2024, in the morning, at home, where he wanted to be. Jack was born Sept. 15, 1937 in Erie, PA. He served in the U.S. Army, Corp of Engineer's Fort Benning, GA. Jack worked for Western Electric "Lucent" and retired after 35 years. He worked with the Boiler Makers for a short time for a change and loved it. Jack would go on and on with his stories and adventures. He spent many hours at the shooting range with friends and his son, Richard "Rick", son-in-law Tom Edkins, and grandsons. Michael Ludinsky and Thomas Jack "TJ" Edkins. Jack belonged to the Masons and the Odd Fellows for a time. Jack loved TV car races, the Steelers and Family Fued, but mostly his 1971 Camaro and his Chevy Silverado Truck. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Janice Edkins (Tom) and son Rick (Amy), 6 grandchildren; Michael (April), Heather (Corey), TJ and great grandson Lincoln, Mia, Kelly and Maddie, survived by nieces and nephews: David Cokinos, Dan Cokinos and Dotty Cokinos, Diana Moore, Eric and Ron Reuschling and their children, along with Betty Jo McDermott (John), Ken Rutherford and special person Rhonda Mahalic. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Reuschling and father Fred Reuschling, two sisters, Alice Cokinos and Vena Jocz and brother Dick Reuschling. Adding, Ken Rutherford and (Ethel Rammsden), Dawn Memory, Cherry Hammond, Marylou Pulaski, James Rutherford and Raymond Rutherford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
