James Husar Obituary

It is with a heart full of cherished memories that I announce that my brother Jim (Jamie) Husar passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. My brother, 63 years young, was a retired paramedic for Baldwin, who dedicated his life to saving and helping others, inspiring countless lives through his selfless service. He was a gifted musician who played the keyboards and even performed in the band Superstar Jones for several years, sharing his creative talents with the world. He also composed several pieces of music for the band, leaving behind a legacy of harmony and joy. Jim loved embracing the beauty of nature, fishing, and camping, and he was an exceptional cook, renowned for his signature barbeque sauce, which he carefully crafted with love. He took immense pride in hosting friends and family for cookouts, spreading love, laughter, and warmth. Jim adored his loyal companion, Socks, and is survived by his mother, June Husar, his son Christopher Husar, and his wife Marcie, his daughter Jennifer Husar, his sister Debbie Delpercio, and her husband Frank, his sister, Lisa Husar, and her wife, Lou Ann Maxwell, and his late sister Susan Timm. Visitors are welcome to pay their respects and celebrate Jim's extraordinary life on Thursday June 12th, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), South Park, PA 15129.  www.davidhenneyfuneralhome.com
