Janis (Broglie) Cusic

Janis Cusic, age 82, of South Park, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Janis was born on January 7, 1941. She was married to the late Charles (Sonny) Cusic for 60 years. She is survived by her children, Nadine (the late Tom Butler) Cusic, Charles (Sandra) Cusic and Lorraine (Tom) Blackburn, and her grandchildren; Jacob and Madison Cusic, Evan (Kylie) Wielgoleski and Charlyn, Anthony and Carson Blackburn and was expecting her first great-grandchild in November, also aunt of Lisa (Doug), Ethan and Emma Scott and Devon (Jessica) and Apollo Broglie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ivy Broglie, her brother Joseph Broglie (surviving Stephanie), her sisters-in law, Lorraine Shones and Dorothy (Herky) Broutin, and brother-in-law, Edward Cusic. Janis was kind, loving and a formidable strength to all who knew her. She spent her life in a little slice of heaven we refer to as "the hill" and kept everyone in line. She was "tough as nails" but our best friend and we were blessed by her love and support. She and Sonny were of the few who had a love unmatched, and they are now reunited to watch over us. Janis will be deeply missed. Friends  will be received Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library, where a funeral service will be Monday at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to South Park Historical Society, P. O.
