Jeannette (Pilarski) Knipling lived a wonderful life of 92 years, born April 7, 1928, and passed away peacefully on November 24, 2020. Wife of the late C. Anthony Knipling. She was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Pilarski and sister to the late Edward (Flo) Pilarski. Mother to her son the late Anthony Knipling, and daughters Janine (James) Hannan and Renee (Rick) Coon. The proud Lovelee Grandmother of Sean, Emily, Kelce and Jordan, and great-grandmother to Avery and Ramona. Jeannette was a sister invited into a warm and loving Algeo Family, Joanne Diulus, LaVerne Lane, Doreen Riley and the late Marylou Munizza, Beatrice Schickert, Eleanor Brody, Kenneth, Jr. and William. She was cherished by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and the children of the late Evelyn Binachi. Jeannette was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Parish from its inception. She served as Eucharistic minister, a member of the altar society, Bereavement committee and Women's Guild. She loved socializing with friends and family with games of cards, slots, Bingo, and Uno. She was a die-hard Pittsburgh Pirate Fan, since her first employment was at Forbes Field. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor of Pittsburgh. A gathering and a celebration of her life will be in 2021, to reminisce and remember her life well lived. A private service will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
