John R. "Jingles" Engel

John R. Engel "Jingles", of Finleyville, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, age 84, loving father of Sean (Kathryn), Steve (Tammy) and the late Rick, brother of Sarah Sculimbrene and the late Fred Engel, Tom Engel and Charles Engel, also 7 grandchildren, 4 great grand-children and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jingles was a long time Ford Mechanic and recognized transmission expert. When Ford Motors had an issue with its transmission design it would send engineers from Detroit to meet with "Jingles" to solve the problem. He was also an avid outdoorsman whose favorite times were spent at deer camp and fishing with friends and family. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a past member of Library Sportsmen's Club and the Hackett Club. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J.
