Jack joined the 82nd Airborne in Fort Bragg during the Korean War. Upon his discharge from the Army, he met his wife, JoAnn, and secretly married her. He worked many years to support his family working construction with his brother before he took a job as a food salesman for Morrison and McCluen. He had a passion for playing golf and later in life, he was happy to spend his days working at South Park Golf Course. During this time, he was able to spend quality time working closely with his grandchildren. We can't forget his Friday night poker games, great sense of humor and his many corny jokes.
Jack "Pap" was always there for his family. He taught us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. He will be forever loved and forever in our hearts.
