John J. Matter of South Park, on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, age 75, beloved husband for 49 years of Nancy (Moore) Matter, loving father of Paul, Tim (Serena), Sean and Carrie (Joe) Matey, beloved grandfather of Cage & Devin Matter and Joey Matey, brother of David (Susan) Matter. John worked at Equibank, PNC Bank and recently, the Allegheny County Courthouse, Criminal Division. His passion was soccer, having served as a PA West Referee for 35 years and as the State Referee Administrator; and his love for animals, especially Riley and Roxy. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Due to COVID restrictions, we ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church.
