John Carney McDowell

John Carney McDowell was born on March 24, 1938 and died on August 28, 2022. John entered St. Mark's Seminary, graduated from Cathedral High School, graduated from Gannon University, attended St. Bonaventure University and graduated from Georgetown Law School. John is survived by his wife Gail Ahlers McDowell, their four children and their spouses; John and Sharon McDowell, Colleen and Brian Anders, Kevin and Elisabeth McDowell and Patrick and Shayna McDowell and 14 grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louise deMarillac Catholic Church, Pittsburgh.
