Kevin John Stoner, 63, of East Butler, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away in his home on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Kevin was born on October 10, 1959 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Clarence A. Stoner and Anna Marie (Huesman) Stoner. He grew up in and graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1977. He studied Automotive Marketing Management at Northwood Institute in Midland, MI and in Fort Worth, TX and later became a Certified Electrician through Dean Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh.
Kevin worked alongside and for his father at Stoner Truck Sales and Stoner Centre for many years and owned and operated Stoner Trucking until 1990. He later retired as a self-employed electrician.
Kevin was known for living his life on the edge and on his own terms. He was smart and fun to be around and always the life of the party! He loved to make people laugh and had the most wicked sense of humor. His heart was generous and his soul was kind.
He loved all things classic; namely music, clocks and cars and had a nice collection of each. He loved animals and was a great Pap-Pap to his grand-dogs and cat. And most of all, he loved his daughters. They were the loves of his life and proudest achievement. He was fiercely loved and will be sorely missed.
In addition to his daughters, Carleigh Stoner of Butler, PA & Kaitlyn Stoner (R.J. Powers) of Morgantown, WV, he is survived by his siblings, Scott (Janet) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Craig (Kyle) of Port Matilda, PA and Jill (Jeff)Taweel of Wilmington, NC, several nieces and nephews and also his girlfriend, Emily Mather.
Kevin was a member of East Butler Presbyterian Church, where Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at 900 Randolph Ave., East Butler, PA 16029. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements handled privately by the David J. Henney Funeral Home, Library. www.davidhenneyfuneralhome.com
