Margaret M. "Gretchen" Griesmer Obituary

Margaret M. "Gretchen" Griesmer, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, age 90, beloved wife for 69 years of William S. Griesmer, loving mother of Christopher (the late Patricia), Keith (Dayl), Paul, Gretchen Smarto (Michael), Ann Henney (David), Charles and Jean Buttignol (David) also 16 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings, Mary Fellencer, William George, Elizabeth Moran, Patricia Hogan and Alma Kenneth. Gretchen dedicated her life to taking care of her husband and children and loved spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a PA Registered Nurse and a Nurse Anesthetist and was a member of the Southwestern PA RN Club. Gretchen was in a bowling league and many bridge groups over the years.
