Mary F. Barr

Mary F. Barr, of Bethel Park, formerly of Portersville, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 30, 2024, age 97, beloved wife of the late George K. Barr, loving mother of David G. Barr (Mary Helen), grandmother of Maggie Sheffer (Rob) and George Barr (Brittney), great-grandmother of Sarah Barr, Maria Sheffer, Davey Barr, Amelia Sheffer, Abigail Barr, Georgia Sheffer and Estie Barr, sister of Edith Riffe (the late Jeremiah), David Weller (Nickie) and the late Alda McClymonds (Norm), Jean Brenneman (Jarvis) and Lois Bauder, sister-in-law of Raymond Bauder also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary lived her life serving her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and she has been welcomed into his presence for eternity. She enjoyed baking and working with the youth of the church as a member of Portersville Bible Church. Mary sang in the church choir and was a soloist. Visitation Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in Portersville Bible Church, 156 East Portersville Road, Portersville, PA 16051, where a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Portersville Bible Church for children and youths.
