Michael F. "Sonny" Sidick

Michael F. Sidick "Sonny", a lifelong resident of Bethel Park, died on Saturday, October 26, 2024, age 88. He was born in Coverdale on February 11, 1936, the son of the late Michael & Mabel (Singer) Sidick, beloved husband for 42 years of Carol (Roth) Sidick, loving father of Lisa Torrence (David), Michael Sidick (Keely), J. Thomas Sidick (Mellisa), step-father of Jesse Johnston (Christine), Stacey Nowe (Jeff), and Lisa Hess (Jack), brother of Donna Cahillane (Jim) & Barbara Fornier, brother-in-law of the late Bob Fornier, grandfather of Jeffry, Cortney (Anthony), Meghan (Michael), Ali (Grant), Evan (Gianna Guarino), Ian, Camry, Kinsey, Chloe (Blake Green), Corbin & Colter, great-grandfather of Joey Nowe and Drew Basher. Mike was a peace-time veteran with the U.S. Air Force. Visitation Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Burial will be held privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillman Cancer Research or Make-a-Wish.
