Patricia D. Hodges, of Bethel Park, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, age 95, beloved wife for 69 years of the late Ronald W. Hodges, loving mother of Stephen P. (Constance), Barry W. (Susan) and Anne P. Gase (Martin), sister of Betty Dickson (twin), Norine Weires and Donna Crebbin, grandmother of John (Kaitlin), Jennifer Worthington (Matthew), Matthew (Lauren), Patrick, Christina Otroba (Thomas) and Hailey, great grandfather of Jack, Benjamin, Joseph, John, Theodore, Charles, Oliver and Ella. Pat was born on a farm on August 26, 1927 in Shelby, NE. She loved animals her whole life. Pat taught grades 1-6 in a one room schoolhouse. After she married Ron, she became a full time wife and mother. Pat enjoyed getting together with family and loved her daily happy hour with her husband. She loved country music especially Kris Kristofferson. Pat loved going to the meadows and watching the harness racing. She enjoyed her flower gardens, house plants, crossword puzzles and brain teasers. Pat was very compassionate and took a genuine interest in people. Most of all, she loved all her children and great-grandchildren. The Hodges family would like to thank the staff at Asbury Heights & Family Hospice for their care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday October 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joan of Arc Church.
