Patricia C. (Kelly) Smithyman

Patricia C. Smithyman, of South Park, age 97, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, beloved wife of the late Thomas, loving mother of Susan Przenkop (David), Mary Frances Duttine (the late Kenneth), Patricia Napierkowski (Michael), Raymond J. (Pamela), James (Shari) and the late Thomas B. Jr., mother-in-law of Rosanne Smithyman, also 12 grandchildren and the late Tyler, Jackie and Lisa Smithyman and 20 great-grandchildren. Pat was a faithful member of St. Valentine Church where she was a two-time past President of the St. Valentine Christian Mothers. She also volunteered tirelessly to start the library at St. Valentine School, where her children and many of her grandchildren attended. Pat also enjoyed traveling with her husband across the United States, to Europe, on golf outings, and to Florida as a snowbird each winter. However, she was always happiest when she was at home in Pittsburgh with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pat was a friend to all, gathering with friends to play cards, golf or volunteer. She recently moved to the Grand Residence at Upper St. Clair and embraced all activities as she made new friends at the age of 97, which was no surprise. She will be missed every day. Visitation will be Monday 4- 7 PM at the David J Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Rd. (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday at noon in St. Valentine Church.
