Paul J. Shannon

Paul J. Shannon, of South Park, at home, on Monday, April 19, 2021, age 81, loving and caring husband for 45 years of Carolee (Calabria), beloved father of Jeffrey (Beth), Steve (Lisa Finnegan), Scott, Ronald Good (Leann) and Ryan Good (Renee), son of the late Paul V. & June (Best) Shannon, proud grandfather of Kelli Reid (Andrew), Nicole (fiance Alex Bioni), Maura & Kailey Shannon, Jordan & Tyler Good, loving brother of Patrick (Stephanie), Michael (Merle) and the late Gregory, also sadly missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister and Fish Fry Volunteer. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from the Whitehall Police Dept. and went on to be Supervisor at reservations for U.S. Air and then opened his own Private Investigation Agency. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. Due to COVID restrictions, we ask that you wear masks and practice social distancing.  Interment with Full Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
