Pearl (Chicoski) Vanyo

Pearl Vanyo, of Venetia, formerly of Hazelwood and Bethel Park, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, June 10, 2021, age 96, beloved wife of the late Joseph, loving mother of Jeanette "Jeanie" Detig (Ray), Carol Holmes (James), Joseph Vanyo (Cheryl) and the late Joanne, sister of Helen Klein and the late Dolores Rys, Dorothy Cosgrove & Patricia Santapietro, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Pearl was an avid "31" card player and loved going to the casino. Her most prized possession was her loving family. They were always in her prayers. Visitation Sunday 5-8 p.m. at the David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), Library. Mass of Christian Burial Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church.
