Rebbecca Brittain Jack left us on Sunday, April 3rd, to join her husband Bill Jack. She dedicated much of her life to bettering the lives of others, through her work in nursing, the Girl Scouts as a leader and trainer, as the head of the Costume and Make-up crews at Bethel High School, and with the wisdom and caring given to all of her friends.
Becky is survived by her sister, Rosemary Holliday, her brother, Col. Claire Brittain, her children Laura Lindsay and William Jack, her grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Becky Jack touched an awful lot of people. In the last 50 years, she has been a teacher, a friend, a guide, a mentor, and even a mother-figure to so many.
She was adventurous, kind, funny, caring, stubborn and an amazing cook. She taught us how to seek joy in life, how to sing and how to laugh at ourselves.
She will be dearly missed.
