Robert G. Gregg

Robert "Bob" Gregg, 89, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of laughter, stories, and treasured memories with those who loved him most.  Born and raised in Bethel Park, Bob was the youngest and last surviving of ten children born to Italian immigrant parents. From his family, he inherited a strong work ethic, deep devotion to those he loved, and a spirited determination that remained with him throughout his life.

Bob never met a stranger. With a personality often compared to Bob Hope, he had an infectious wit, a quick smile, and a gift for making people laugh. Bob was an exceptional storyteller who could captivate anyone willing to listen. His stories—often sprinkled with a bit of embellishment for dramatic effect—became legendary among family and friends. While Bob could certainly be stubborn, those who knew him best also knew his generous heart and the deep love he had for his family.

Above all, Bob's greatest blessing was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan, whose unwavering love and support were the cornerstone of their life together. He was a proud father to his son, Bobby (Christine), and his daughter, Reci (Dave). He was a devoted grandfather to Shanel (Josh), Jordan, Taylor (Sidney), Sienna, and Zander, who brought him endless pride and joy. His legacy also lives on through his four precious great-grandchildren, Ella, Levi, Cole, and Kai, who filled his heart with happiness and reminded him that life's greatest gifts are found in family.

While his favorite chair now sits empty, the memories he created and the love he gave will forever fill the hearts of those who knew him He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. Funeral arrangements handled privately by David J.
